A new life
Ord Mindas
is located on the outskirts of the Expanse region just off
the Hydian Way on route to Malastare. The early
settlers found life hard on this lifeless rock, coupled
with a war with the inhabitants of what would become known
as the City of Dark.
A planetary
day is equal to it's year, meaning one side of the planet
is in perpetual darkness, the over in light. Along
the equator the temperatures are high, and on the far side
of the planet the temperatures are very low, although
there is no ice due to the lack of water. The
atmosphere is thin and you can survive several days before
requiring a breath mask, unless you get caught in a
sulphur storm. The mining of sulfur being the
primary function of the City of Light.
Neighbours
of hatred
The
original colony ship to Ord Mindas arrived several days
before another craft carrying a crew of exiled Anzati.
The Anzati claimed the planet as their own, and a race was
on to register the world with the Republic, although the
Anzati were not interested in what the Republic had to
say. A battle took place, and if it was not for the
timely intervention of a group of Jedi the colonists would
have been wiped out. The colony grew and built the
City of Light. The Anzati remained on the dark side
of the world and built the City of Dark. To this day
this has been no contact with the Anzati. Several
expeditions have been sent to the City of Dark, though
none have returned.
City
of Light
The City of
Light was founded 4000 years before ANH by Chief Miles
Morley of the Miners Guild. The city is built atop a
large plateau. The gates on the lower level still
stand where the original colony set up base. The
city can land up to twelve starships, though many more are
free to land outside the cities limits. The
buildings are somewhat cluttered an build close together.
There is little open space in the actual city. Those
that want some peace often find the path along the city
wall to be the most peaceful place in the city.
The city is
home to 10,000 citizens, most of whom are involved in the
mining operations, be it operating the machines,
maintaining the droids or working in the offices.
The city is generally busy with everyone seemingly always
at work to earn a few more credits in the hope of leaving
the world for somewhere better.

Neimodian
The current

escape his grasp.
Aygar Mace
Character
type: Noble
Race: Anzat
Aygar Mace
is an enigma. Most people on Ord Mindas have heard
of him, few, except those who have business with the
Director, have ever seen him. Stories have have been
exaggerated. Some say he is immortal and a million
years old. Some say he is already dead and a ghost
that haunts the city. The truth is that Aygar is an
Anzat. He arrived with the rest of the Anzati 4000
years ago, though his appearance does not betray his age.
Aygar does not work for anyone, but has been the advisor
to the Director for as long as anyone can remember.
He keeps himself to himself. Though he has recently
been at odds with Pit Massel the two share the same goal,
the protection of Ord Mindas.
Tales
of the Jedi
Days after
Chief Morley's scout ship claimed Ord Mindas another ship
landed carrying a crew of murderous Anzanti. The
Anzati tried to kill the scouts. Somehow they
survived until their message for help was picked up by a
starship serving the Jedi Council. Several Jedi
arrived and assisted the scouts in one final battle
against the Anzati. Since that day the Anzati have
not been seen, with the exception of Aygar Mace who
actually helped the Jedi. Many may believe the
Anzati of Ord Mindas were wiped out by the Jedi, but Aygar
Mace assures all that enquire that the Anzat are alive and
well in the City of Dark.

Miles Morley
Character
type: Scout
Race: Human
A tough
burley human from Corellia. Miles Morley has worked
hard to be able to lead his own scout team. Finding
this sulfur rich world was to have made him rich.
Instead Morley was stuck here. The Anzati had killed
several of his close friends. After that he had
little care for the money. He works as hard as any
man could to make this world work. If it was not for
the perseverance of Miles Morley Ord Mindas would most
probably have been ignored by the Republic.
Sgt. Hauser
Charcater

had served together for many years before Ord Mindas.
At times they don't even need to talk to communicate.

her. When the Anzati first attacked an Anzat came
very close to drinking her soup. Since then
Kira has been petrified every waking moment. She was
very relieved when Jedi arrived to deal with the Anzati.
assisstant
Makal'Tol
Character
type: navigator
Race: Givin
The Given
astrogator Makal'Tor only joined Morley's team on his
previous journey. Makal'Tor is a typical Given.
He keeps to himself simply so as not to expose himself to
the horrible flesh-creatures. So repulsed of flesh,
Makal'Tor will often start is shake when dealing with
flesh races, especially humans.
City
of Dark: Aeyuris
Little is
known of the City of Dark. For millennia even it's
existence was believed a fantasy until proof it existed
was brought by Aygar Mace. The city is dug into a
black stone mountain and not visible at all. The
city is a series of winding tunnels calved from the rock.
Only the odd flaming torch shines any light in the dim
empty corridors of the city.
Should you
wander into the City of Dark you will find very little.
No shops or houses. No people, just narrow corridors
connecting a collection of bare stone rooms. The
Anzati are there, but if they choose to show themselves it
will be the last thing you ever see.
Monarch
Ditrius Minas
Ditrius
Minas is a tall muscular Anzat with a heart of pure evil.
The ship that he piloted carried the most foul beings from
Anzat society. Ditrius is not a predator, he prefers
his prey to wander into his lair. When he first
landed he wanted the world as his own, but the Jedi put an
end to that. To that end Detrius merely skulks in
the darkness of his lonely city.
Master
Assassin Forlan Lorthorn
The closest
thing Ditrius has to a friend is Forlan Lorthorn.
Forlan worked as an assassin and has a morbid sadistic
streak, preferring to torture his victims before killing
them.
