UBIQTORATE

Imperial Intelligence

See Imperial Sourcebook by WEG for more information on Ubiqtorate

Sub-Director Vaskal

Sub-Director of Intelligence

Character Type Ubiqtorate Officer
Race Human
Age 55
Quote "Information is a premium commodity."
GM ID Ugavine

"It is the responsibility of my department to hold all the facts, collate the facts, and act on said facts accordingly keeping the Sector Moff informed at all times.  It is my departments responsibility to decide what is and is not a fact, and therefore, what to and not to inform the Sector Moff."

Sub-Director Vaskal comes across as a nervous man, always shaking.  This is more a side effect of his spice addiction rather than his personality.  He is very confident, but also cautious.  He always weights up the pros and cons of any information he gives out, only revealing what gives him an advantage in any situation.  Be the situation a matter of galactic importance, or simply seating in a restaurant, Vaskal always makes a calculated decision that gives him the greatest advantage.

Vaskal is an extreme spice addict, both smoking death sticks as well as having a cybernetic spice injector on his left wrist.  He never goes anywhere without his spice capsules.

Vaskal has long black greasy hair with a pale greasy complexion.  His appearance can be from one of un-nerving to disgust, but again, this is a calculated decision by the Sub-director of Imperial Intelligence.

Vladimir Darkhammer

Bureau of Operations: Beyond the Blood Drift

Character Type ex-Den-Gar Commando
Race Garbarian (nr. human)
Age 24
Quote "I will rule Gar."
GM ID Ugavine

"So, big brother is King and the Bloodaxe bitch is now calling herself Queen.  I guess I'm going to have to put an end to that little party.  And I'll take care of Lexgar too if he gets involved."

Younger brother of Ivan Darkhammer of Gar.  Vladimir is a disgraced member of the Den-Gar Commando's after he attempted to take rule of them away from King Lexgar.  Vladimir's plan was stopped by his brother Ivan and leadership of the Den-Gar returned to King Dargrim Lexgar.  This has led to a strong alliance between the kingdoms of Darkhammer and Lexgar.

Since his defeat Vladimir was approached by sub-director Vaskal to take over as head of the Imperial Bureau of Operations for Beyond the Blood Drift.  This Sector is not under Imperial rule, and Vaskal believed it advantageous to have an agent assigned who knows the Sector well.

"..."

Magma is secret agent for Imperial Intelligence who often poses as a Mercenary or Smuggler.  His distinct appearance does make it difficult for his as a secret operative, but he has so far proved that Ubiqtorate is the job for him.  Magma is a cold cynical man who, like most of his race, who is stubborn and unwilling to compromise.  He shows no remorse or sympathy for enemies of the New Order.

Imperial Inquisition

The Inquisition are officially a sub-division of Ubiqtorate.  Unofficially the Inquisition are a law unto themselves answering only to the Emperor.  The Inquisition take it upon themselves to question anyone, even Imperial Officers, if they believe there is a threat to the Empire.  COMPNOR are very critical of the Inquisition, believing internal investigation is their department.  This has fallen on deaf ears.  Most cases that involve the Inquisition are getting stubborn prisoners to talk.  The Inquisition only involve themselves with important prisoners and have a remarkable reputation of making prisoners confess.  COMPNOR have again questioned the Inquisitions questioning claiming they make prisoners say what they want them to say.  Jaddek Fromm, former Head of Elrood Sector Development, was one voice who became over-critical against the Inquisition.  While in Inquisition custody Jaddek confessed to sedition and high treason.  He was executed for his crimes without trial.

Inquisitor Nexix

Character Type Imperial Inquisitor
Race Iktotchi
Age unknown
Quote "Interesting.  Yes, very interesting."
GM ID Ugavine

"It would appear we have a problem.  Inform the Emperor the Doomsday weapon is activated.  Then prepare my ship."

Capsule: When the Emperor rose to power he held but one fear, that his dark plans would one day be stopped.  To that end he set in motion plans to devise a Doomsday Weapon capable of destroying the entire galaxy.  All of the plans to devise such a weapon were a failure, except one.  The weapon was so deadly, and a craft of evil Palpatine could never have imagined.  The head scientist of the project was a Iktotchi called Nexix.  With the Death Star project now in motion other project were deemed uncalled for and Nexix was ordered to abandon the project.  Nexix did as instructed and took up position as an Imperial Inquisitor, though his duties were kept to a minimum as he fell out of favour with the Emperor.

Now disaster could strike at the black heart of the Emperors plans and only Nexix is capable of controlling events.

Nexix is a cold calculating man who does his best to plan every event in meticulous detail.  Despite his drop from favour he is totally loyal to his Emperor.

Nexix is also aware of this own mortality, or immortality.  Nexix has had a neural clone chip fitted allowing him to 'back-up' his mind to be downloaded into a new clone body should he ever be killed.  This near immortality makes Nexix a very dangerous enemy to have.

Dark Side Points: 9

Commander Malice

Character Type

Imperial Naval Officer

Race

(classified Human)

Age

unknown

Quote

"I believe we should go with MY recommendation, Captain."

GM ID

Ugavine

"My dear Moff, please do not delude yourself into thinking you are in command of ... anything."

Equipment: Blaster Pistol, Comlink

Capsule: Commander Malice was assigned to the VSD Vindicator at the request of the Inquisition, more precisely, Inquisitor Nexix.  Commander Malice is everything that his name stands for.  He is cold, cruel and evil.  Malice is always at the side of Inquisitor Nexix, relaying orders to the weak Captain Dakar.  Malice has even less interaction with the crew of the Vindicator than the Inquisitor does.  He has an aura of fear about him causing most men to quake in his presence.  Even Captain Dakker does not question orders from his Commander.

Commander Malice was recently called into physical action against Jedi Master Savant on the planet Ord Mindas.  Savant, armed with force pike and lightsabre, was wary that Malice fearlessly confronted her, unarmed!  The two dueled with Savant inflicted enough wounds on the commander to have killed a normal man a dozen times over, yet Malice still stood.  Savant and her Rebel allies had to flee the scene, but now they know that Commander Malice is not human, but some kind of Enhanced human replica Droid.
