Krynoid,
Ogrons, Raston Warrior Robot
Krynoid
Krynoid
are deadly carnivorous plants. A Krynoid seed is
approximately 150mm high. When the seed germinates
it shoots out long stems that lash out on nearby animal
like. The target is immediately infected with
Krynoid spores and will start to change. Stage one
of the change causes the host to become drowsy and start
to grow foliage with blood turning into chlorophyll and
skin sprouting leaves. Stage two sees the host
transform into a walking plant, no longer with any of
their own memories. The third and final stage sees
the creature grow to an astronomical size taller than a
three story house. At this point the Krynoid will
show some control of nearby fauna, with regular plant life
starting to lash out and kill any nearby animal life.
It does not take long for the Krynoid creature to spore
it's seeds. In a matter of 24hours a Krynoid is well
on it's way to taking over an entire world.

Krynoid in the Star Wars
Universe
In a recent campaign two
Krynoid seeds were taken to a scientist on the planet
Kidron in the Elrood sector for analysis. The seeds
germinated and what followed would become known as The
Kidron Incident. The planet Kidron is now a spawning
ground for the Krynoid. The Empire has quaranteed
the planet and has attempted to destroy the Krynoid, with
limited effect, using orbital bombardments.

Species Traits D20
Infection:
The Krynoid seed can attack 1D4 characters within three
meters of it when it germinates. The Krynoid seed
has an attack of +6. If characters are unaware of
the nature of the seeds they are to be treated as
surprised. If the seed hits the target must make a
Fort save DC20 or become infected.
Stage One:
The character must make a Fort save DC 20 or be unable to
make any actions. He will feel ill and drowsy.
A character who makes the Fort saving roll can still make
actions with a -4 penalty on all actions.
Stage Two:
After 2D6 hours stage two begins. The host must make
a Fort save DC 25 to prevent the Krynoid reaching Stage
Two. A further save must be made every hour. If
three successful saves are made the host is free from
infection. On a failed save the host is treated as
dead and become the Krynoid.

Ogrons
Ogron's
are a simple-minded race from the planet they name Ogron (Ogron’s
are not very inventive!) The primitive ape-like
Ogrons would probably never have evolved into a space
faring race. There brain is small for a humanoid and they
are barely capable of concentrating at the task at hand.
They have aggressive tendencies and therefore have been
put to work by criminal elements like the Hutts as
bodyguards and enforcers. Without someone to lead them
their ranks break up and they can be easily intimidated by
a larger opponent. However, if following orders they make
formidable warriors.
The Ogrons worship, and
fear, a blob/insect-like deity known as the Ogron-Eater
(well the Ogrons’ named it!). This pink blob is a
carnivorous species that roams the barren wasteland of the
Ogron planet in search of food, usually an Ogron and is
too stupid to run away.
TV appearance:
Day of the Daleks, Frontier in Space
Personality:
Ogrons are stupid and brutish. They are a
subservient race always cowering down to their masters.

Ogron would be an ideal
planet to be located in Hutt Space. The Ogons are a
race akin to Weequay and Gammoreans making them excellent
bodyguards and thugs.

Raston
Warrior Robot
The Raston
Warrior Robot is a pure, and very effective, killing
machine. The robot is a silver slim line humanoid,
even it's face. The robot has minimal functions
other than defense and operates primarily by detecting
movement. A still target will often go unnoticed by
the robot. Although not a resilient machine part of
the Raston Robots defense is it's light speed movement.
When it moves it appears to virtually disappear such is
it's speed. Attacking such a fast moving target can
prove near impossible. The Raston Robots primary
weapon ar spears shot from it's forearm. The Raston
robot does have a limited ammunition supply, 14 shots, so
must keep a stock of ammo nearby.
TV appearance:
The Five Doctors
Personality:
None. The Raston Warrior
Robot shows no sign of emotion, it merely carries out it's
tasks with emotionless efficiency.
Language:
None - can understand basic commands in
