Great set, great sculpts, especially the colossal figures.  Bat Walker is especially impressive and I love the Velociraptors, I'll certainly be running some dinosaur themes with them and Devil Dinosaur. 

Many of the figures come from the DC Jurassic League series.  So no, Wizkids hasn't just made up dinosaur superheroes.

Based on the series which detailed the journey Bruce Wayne takes through the timestream of the DC Universe after being deposited in the distant past by Darkseid in Final Crisis.

This isn't a single figure, but several figures in the set who can be swapped out during your game, healing Batman in the process.  Downside is that you will drop the Utility Belt or any other equipment you have,

First appearance: Strange Tales #205 (October 1967)



A
 former acrobat who was murdered by an unknown assailant, and then granted power by a Hindu deity to remain a disembodied spirit who can temporarily take possession of any living being in order to fight evil forces.

Deadman has appeared in many times including Justic League Dark and even Neil Gaiman's Book of Magic.

Despero is a supervillain originally portrayed as a pink-skinned humanoid extraterrestrial with three eyes and psychic powers.

Despero is an alien from the planet Kalanor, and in addition to a genius intellect possesses a third eye on his forehead capable of mind control, illusions, telekinesis, and telepathy. Despero is also empowered by the "Flame of Py'tar", a mystical source of power that grants him massive superhuman strength, durability, speed, reflexes.

Detective Chimp (Bobo T. Chimpanzee) is a superhero who wears a deerstalker cap (ŕ la Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional sleuth Sherlock Holmes).

Detective Chimp has superhuman-level intelligence and solves crimes, often with the help of the Bureau of Amplified Animals, a group of intelligent animals that also includes Rex the Wonder Dog.

Supernova is an identity used by three characters in the DC Comics Universe, all related to the Carter bloodline.

Supernova uses the Phantom Zone Projector built into his suit to teleport matter from one place to another through the Phantom Zone itself.
