Some nice sculpts and variety, and it does try and keep close to the Animated series, which is one of my personal favourite shows, hence why I was looking forward to this set.  I found the Colossal Uncommons more appealing than the Colossal Rares (except Dark Phoenix which was a must have).  And I'm not a great fan of the Hellfire Club, so the Chases hold little interest (saves some money though).  But very glad to have pulled Mojo, awesome sculpt.

Under the guidance of who he believed to be Magneto (actually a robot), Mesmero used his ability to mesmerize people to try to make Polaris believe she was Magneto's daughter. The X-Men foiled his plans, and thus began a long cycle of Mesmero attempting to do something criminal and then being stopped by an X-Team.

"Ricochet Rita" Wayword was once a professional stuntwoman. She befriended Longshot, an interdimensional traveler from the Mojoverse. 

After holding her prisoner for several years Mojo forced his chief scientist to perform extreme physical and mental body modifications onto Rita to recreate her into a loyal subordinate. These experiments left her with six arms (some of which are robotic) and drove the young woman insane through forcibly evolving Rita's mind to the point that she could see into other dimensions that were used for time travel/teleportation. He also trained her in the dark arts of magic and body modification.  Finally, in a cruel act of manipulation, Mojo sent Spiral back in time to set into motion the events that led to her former self-becoming Mojo's prisoner and become Spiral by attacking her past self.

Mojo is part of a race of spineless beings from a planet later named after him known as Mojoworld in a pocket dimension dubbed the Mojoverse. The race were slowly driven insane by waves of energy ("Television Signals") from another space/time continuum somehow scattered throughout their timeline.
