6.
Survival of the Daleks
Holmes & Xara are caught by a Kitling, transporting them to the
planet of the Cheetah People, but there is a bigger threat.
Episode One
1. The TARDIS materialises on
a distant unknown planet. V5 remains in the TARDIS while
Holmes and Xara explore. There are crumbling buildings, but no
sign of life. This city was abandoned many years ago for sure.
Holmes "Here take this
tablet?"
Xara "What for?"
Holmes "Scans revealed
increased radiation, this will cancel it's effects."
Xara "Why are we here?"
Holmes "An unusual
energy emission. some kind of spatial anomaly."
 Xara
"looks like we missed it... here what's that? A cat... it
looks lost.. here kitty..."
Holmes "Kitty? No wait
don't get too close..."
TOO LATE!
In flash the kitty leaps away
and Holmes and Xara find themselves on another world...
2. Holmes and Xara find
themselves in a desert, but with a thick fog.
Xara "What happened?"
Holmes "A Kitling.
An advance scout for the Cheetah People. We have been
teleported to their world."
Xara "Can we get back to the
ship?"
Holmes, fiddling with a tech
gizmo, "The radiation is greater here, it must be seeping through to
where the ship is, I did mention some spatial rift. If we find
that we may get home."
Looking around there is no one
about, the immediate area is rocky. Then Xara spots the
Kitling on a nearby rock. The Kitling gives out a small meow
and walks away, almost beckoning the time travellers to follow, and
with no other option, they do.
3. They walk for just 10
minutes of so, then, in a clearing near rocky circle is a swirling
portal.
Xara "Well, that was
easy."
Holmes "Indeed. That
Kitling brought us here for a reason, and showed us the way home."
4. Xara "And it's wants us to
follow still."
Holmes "I wonder if the
Cheetah people are in some kind of distress???"
Holmes and Xara follow the
Kitling some more and find a small encampment of Cheetah People.
5. Several of the
Cheetah People start to circle around Holmes and Xara.
Xara "They don't look
too friendly."
Holmes "Yes, I was
worried about that. Even if they do need help their base
hunting instincts may have kicked.
The Cheetah People Pounce and
pin both Holmes and Xara to the ground...
... then suddenly the
situation changes with a shrieking cry of "Chee-tah found... Ex-ter-min-ate!
Ex-ter-min-ate!"
Episode Two
6. Several Daleks attack using
Stun Gas, incapacitating several of the Cheetah People. They spot
Holmes & Xara but they are able to flee.
Xara is stating to feel
strange, angry.
Holmes and Xara find
themselves hiding with one of the Cheetah People. Carefully
Holmes tries to communicate with them, and is able to get through.
They say the Daleks are taking
them away to their camp.
7. The Dalek camp turns out to
be a crashed Spaceship. Holmes, Xara and the Cheetah find a
safe path to the ship and are able to sneak aboard, the ship has
many tears in it's hull.
Stealthily they have a look
around the ship and Holmes discovers that it is the Dalek ship that
is the cause of the radiation leak.

8. Xara is really not well and
transforms into her Werewolf form! She manages to keep some
control but flies into a random fit of range and flees. The Cheetah
follows, leaving Holmes alone on the Dalek ship.
9. Holmes is able to sneak
into Dalek Control where only a single unaware Sentry is posted.
He tries hacking the Dalek
computer but riggers and alarm.
10. Dalek "You are an en-er-my
of the-da-leks!"
Holmes "Well, isn't every non-Dalek?"
Dalek "Scan de-tect
secon-dary heart, you are a Time Lord. You will Be EX-TER-MIN-ATED!"
Holmes "First you will
tell me why you are here! And what do you want with the
Cheetah People?"
While talking Holmes was
studying the computer screens.
Holmes "Ah, I see, you
crashed. You created the portal but cannot pass through it,
because only organic material can pass through. You somehow
lured the Cheetah People here in the hope they would take you home,
but they didn't did they, they made this their home. Now
you're capturing them to try to lean their teleport ability.
Dear, dear you really are in a mess."
The Dalek points is laser gun
at Holmes!
Episode Three
11. Dalek #1 "Ex-...Prey...
Hunt... seek... hunt..."
Dalek #2 "Da-lek has Chee-tah
corr-up-tion. DES-TROY DES-TROY!"
The Daleks in the Control room
focusing on the rogue Dalek allow Holmes the chance to slip away.
Holmes hears Dalek fire and an explosion.
Holmes "Of course, the Daleks
themselves are being corrupted by the Cheetah People. Now
where is that central computer... ah."
12. Holmes is able to access
the Dalek computers (makes difficulty 18 roll).
Holmes "First to release
the captive Cheetahs, and then to close the portal leaking radiation
from this world.. oh yes, if I reverse the polarity... that should
do it."
Holmes makes his escape from
the crashed Dalek spaceship...
 13.
Holmes does not get far when he is cornered by a Cheetah People
hunting party... lead by a Werewolf... Xara!
Holmes cautiously approaches
Xara. He looks deep into her eyes.
Holmes "Xara, are you in
there? Can you hear me."
She nods as suddenly there is
a laser blast!
Daleks "EX-TER-MIN-ATE!"
The Cheetahs flee, Holmes with
them.
14. The Cheetahs are
faster than the Daleks but the Daleks are relentless in their
pursuit.
Holmes "Xara. We
need to lead the Cheetah People away from here, to a new home.
This world will kill them with the radiation from that Dalek ship."
Xara nods, but gives a
quizzical look.
Holmes "Lead them home."
Xara "Home?"
Holmes "Yes, the ship.
The TARDIS."
Xara gives out an almighty
howl (Spending a Story Point). The Cheetah People hear, and
howl in union.
The Daleks approach!
Xara grabs Holmes by the hand
and runs, as do all the Cheetah People, and in a flash they
disappear, teleporting to a new home.
15. Holmes looks around.
The derelict buildings of this unknown planet. And Xara is
back into her normal human form.
Xara "Did we make it?"
Holmes "I think so.
There is the TARDIS."
The Cheetah People disperse,
on a new hunt. Holmes checks his radioactivity meter, and
radiation is dropping.
Holmes and Xara enter the
TARDIS and the ship disappears.
 Unnoticed,
deep within the TARDIS cloisters is a small black Kitling, asleep
gently purring to itself.
