Stargate SG-13
The SGC has recently had need to increase it's teams, whilst not increasing the Stargate personnel. Therefore the decision was made to cut down some team to form several smaller Stargate teams. One such move was to drop several personnel from SG-17 to form the new SG-13. Under the Command of Lieutenent Bom Bad the SG-13 team has just performed it's first mission, though with mixed results. The biggest surprise addition to the team is Terri Lexgar, dropped from SG-17 by her own husband. Although it is believed to be the intention of the SGC to train Terri as an officer to take over command of SG-13 from Lt. Bom Bad. Primary team function: SG-13 are a general purpose team and often called in as backup in combat situations.
Terri Lexgar (player-character)
"Hi guys and gals, Terri here. I don't understand all the technical stuff, I just know the 'gate takes you to another planet in another galaxy. I'm just glad I'm with Lexon on this project."
Force Points: 2 Equipment: Medium Repeating Blaster, armour, grenades, thermal detonators, kedran lip smear (4D stun), haliat perfume (Con +1D), comlink, hold-out blaster, force pike Capsule: Terri is from the neighboring planet Valkor. She was a child of the Elite (living aboard an orbiting space station) spending all of he childhood in care never knowing her mother or father. Terri was a rebel though. By the time she was fourteen she worked as a prostitute until her elders found out and banished her to the badlands when she was sixteen. Terri survived. She was taken in by a Valkyrie tribe and taught how to fight. By seventeen Terri had left Valkor and worked as a Bounty Hunter and Assassin. At nineteen she was arrested by Stormtroopers and taken to the Spice mine of Kessel. Somehow she escaped, but her career as an assassin brought her into conflict with the Empire again. Once more she was sentenced to time on Kessel. Fortune struck as the prison barge was attacked by Hutt employed mercenaries. This was when Terri first met Lexon Lexgar. Not long later Lexon joined the Rebel Alliance, so leaving her past in the past Terri joined him. Quirks / Odd abilities: Can make even the finest clothes seem like 'trash-wear', has appeared in an adult holo-vid, thinks Wild Space must be a good place to party.
Bom Bad (player-character)
"Hey man, yousa not know me. Meesa Bom Bad, an' I'm a bombad Gungan. This Stargate mission is cool man. So just chill and enjoy the ride."
Force Points: 2 Equipment: Shock-lance (Str+2D), padded armour (+2), boomer (5D), energy shield Capsule: Details to follow.
Dr. Q-Zark (player-character)
"It's not true that I spend all day in the canteen. Why would I? I have chef droid in the tech shop. Anyway, I'm a droid engineer. Leave all the dangerous work to the primitives. Lexon likes all the heavy work anyway. Oh, you think I don't know what I'm doing. Well I'll soon prove you wrong. Just after I've finished my bantha burger."
Force Points: 2 Equipment: Assorted tools, stun pistol, ion blaster, Jet Boots, medpacs, thermal detonator, Anti-Force device* * An amazing feat of engineering and a testament to Q-Zarks hidden genius. This small device projects a 5m sphere around the user that the Forcce cannot penetrate, much like the effects of a Ysalamiri. Capsule: Dr. Q-Zark was brought into the Rebel Alliance by his close friends Dr.Ugavine and Uggy. He was first assigned field duties serving alongside Jo'din Northstar. soon his technical prowess came to the attention of Alliance High Command and he was assigned to Special Operations and to the StarGate project. Q-Zark has been made a member of SG-17 where he has made a strong repuation for himself in the consumption of bantha burgers. Q-Zarks recent sparks of not quite brilliance have aided the StarGate project greatly. Dr. Q-Zark also has this reputation for being very clumsy, and for breaking things he's supposed to be fixing. The StarGate security was recently compromised, no thanks to the New Bandit Order, and the facility was attacked by Goa'uld via the StarGate and Imperials from orbiting Star Destroyers. A StarGate cannot be shut down if someone else has 'dialled' into it. So the General asked Q-Zark to 'fix' the 'Gate. It didn't take the good Doctor long to de-activate it. The rebels fled through the StarGate to safety, but not wanting to let this 'Gate fall into Imperial hands the General had a plan. Again he asked Q-Zark to fix the StarGate. No one is really sure what he did, Q-Zark included, but the supposedly indestructable StarGate was rendered inoperable. He may break a few things and eat more than the rest of the base combined, but Dr.Q-Zark is a valuble member of the team. Additional - Don't let Q-Zark near a medical kit. The good Doctor has very little luck with said items, often wasting at least two medpacs when treating even a minor wound GM notes: Every time Dr. Q-Zark has been required to use a medpac he has rolled a '1' on his first two attempts. Quirks / Odd abilities: Knows 101 Bantha recipes, has a hair-dressing certificate, can rub tummy and pat head at the same time.
Wookoid (player-character)
"[GROWL] (translated from Wookiee) HELLO FRIEND. I AM KNOWN AS WOOKOID. I HELP MY GOOD FRIEND TORM TO RUN HIS BUSINESS. I OWE HIM A GREAT DEBT. I AM NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK AGAINST THE EMPIRE. WHAT THEY DO TO NON-HUMANS IS SIMPLY WRONG. I WILL FIGHT TO FREE NOT ONLY MY PEOPLE, BUT ALL PEOPLE [GROWL]"
Capsule: There has never been a more serene and calm wookiee. Sure, he holds his own well in a fight, but has never (at least in any RPG adventure) succumbed to Berserker Rage. The story is an old one. Torm saved him from slavery, so now, honor bound, he stays close to Torm at all times, often proving to be Torms better judgment. Quirks / Odd abilities: has fear of dandruff, can light farts without burning fur Warriors of Gar - Role-Playing for over 18 years
