Episode One - Planet of Pleasure

The Sixty-Nine drops out of Hyperspace in the Phlax system and land in Ocean City Spaceport.  Weapons are prohibited and the Spaceport is guarded by Imperial Stormtroopers.  Exiting customs in the promenade everyone seems content enough, mostly visitors in this area.

Torm, Terri and Junior head to a small repair shop where a girl behind the counter greets them, and passwords are exchanged.

Vima "Thank you for coming.  This way."

Vima leads the Warriors through a back door into a access passageway

Torm "Okay, so why all the cloak and dagger?  We've not heard of any trouble in this sector."
Vima  "You won't, the entire population are pacified.  There is a drug in the food and water.  Some of us have managed to get ourselves off it, but we need more help stopping the Empire."
Torm  "Listen, we've heard things like this before, but I'm going to need some sort of proof."
Vima  "You need to meet my friends, come..."

After a few minutes of following Vima through passageways she leads down in the the under city, but two Stormtroopers block their path.

Torm  "If we take them out we'll just alert them.  We need to sneak past."  Unfortunately it is Torm himself who gives away their position.  Terri, Junior and Vima sneak by.

Stormtrooper  "Halt!  What are you doing in is area?  This area is restricted!"
Torm  "Oh am I glad to find you.  I got jumped in the spaceport and shoved into a crawlspace.  They took my credits, and I've been searching for an hour to find my way out."

Torm rolls 24 for his Con.

Stormtrooper  "Okay, head down that corridor."
Torm  "Thank you so much."  Torm heads in that direction before sneaking to join the others.

Terri  "You're an idiot."
Torm  "..."

Eventually the Warriors enter an area with many sick looking people, some are tending to them.  An elderly man greets Vima.

Vorne "I am Vorne.  Vima said she had sent for help, I did not believe it would come."
Torm  "What is going on here?"
Vorne  "These are the survivors.  Ones who have been left to die because they can no longer function.  A side effect of the drugged food and water."

Warriors all fail their medical roll so must take Vorne at his word.

Torm  "This looks like Spice withdrawal."
Vorne  "Indeed it is."
Torm  "Do you have more evidence?"
Vorne  "The water processing plant just outside the city.  Shuttles arrive regular and that is where they add the spice."
Torm  "Okay, we'll check it out and be in touch."

Episode Two - The Spice Net

The Warriors are able to get out of the city with Vornes help and use swoops to near the Water Processing plant.  They see a shuttle landing as they approach. Torm makes a note of its ID, Spiryl 919.

The plant is relatively unguarded, the Empire believing the population is too subdued to act, but a security post must still be passed.

Torm Terri and Junior approach the two armed Stormtroopers.

Stormtrooper  "This area is off limits."
Torm  "y'know, I'm getting rather bored with Stormtroopers telling what is off limits."

Torm punches the first trooper, incapacitating him, but the other retaliates, punching and wounding Terri (rolled a fumble).  Terri tries to hit the Stormtrooper but (rolls another fumble!) but the Stormtrooper is fortunately knocked out by Torm.

Torm  "What the hell is up with?  Do you only fight when naked?*"  * referring to Terri's pit fight in The Game Chambers of Questal
It was Terris turn to be silent.  Junior patches her wound before Terri and Torm don the Stormtrooper uniforms.

Dressed as Stormtroopers the Warriors are able to get closer to the operation and indeed see the spice being added to the water supply, Junior taking holovid recording.

Terri  "Where do they get spice on this level?"
Torm  "No idea.  Even the Hutts couldn't supply this, not even Kessel.  Junior, there is a computer terminal, see what you can find."

Junior hacks the computer Terminal (exploding wild die, and rolls 30!) with the expert skill on an Ugavine.

Junior "I've got flight plans and cargo manifest.  Everything we need for Alliance Command to act.  And... what?!!!"
Torm  "Spill..."
Junior  "I've found a Shadownet.  A secret holonet signal."
Torm  "Imperial?  I though they closed down most of the Holonet."
Junior  "This is not Imperial, or Hutt, or Black Sun... it's older.  Very old.  I think this pre-dates the Old Republic."
Torm  "That's not possible.  A secret holonet, I'd know about it."
Junior  "Not this one.  So... who are the Spice Lords?"
Torm  "Never heard of them."
Junior  "Well they've been running this Shadownet for twenty thousand years... from Kardak Prime, Spirylax."

The Warriors make their escape as the alarm sounds indicating the unconscious Stormtroopers have been found.

Episode Three - Into the Spice Palace

The Warriors manage to evade the Imperial Agents trailing them and meet up with Vorne to tell him they plan on asking the Alliance to act on this information.  In the meantime the Warriors will travel to Spirylax to investigate the mysterious Shadownet and the Spice Lords.

The Sixty-Nine breaks orbit of Phlax and Torm sends the information to General Reekeene and her Roughnecks.

Junior plots a hyper-course to Spirylax.

The planet Spirylax suffered from heavy bombardment in the early days of the Galactic Empire.  It is now a harsh desert planet with it's cities being huge tower blocks rising the from the desert.

The Sixty-Nine is guided in to land at one of the larger towers.  Exiting the ship the Warriors are greeted by a gold skinned twil'ek and a compliment of a dozen guards.

Torm  (waving hands to show unarmed) "Hey guys, we're new in town, just visiting."
Spice Lord Valorn (the twi'lek) "We know you are member of the Rebel Alliance, interfering with Plax.  Leave your weapons in your ship and follow me."
Torm  "Listen, we just..."
Spice Lord Valorn  "Follow now or die here.  But do not speak."

Torm and Terri look at each other, shrug and follow.  Wookoid remaining at the ship as usual, but six guards remain.

The Warrriors are led through the city, seeing very few people. A large turbolift, the size of a large room, takes then to the higher levels of the city.  Eventually they are led into a vast chamber with windows showing the sprawling desert.  A pale skinned human woman in a revealing outfit and dark cloaks meets them.

Torm  "Hi."
Queen Ashara  "You are Vincent Torm of the Rebel Alliance, former smuggler, Bounty 10000 credits.  With Terri Lexgar, a mercenary from Beyond the Blood Drift, Bounty 30000 credits, and yes... Doctor Ugavine Junior, Bounty 50000 credits."
Terri  "Are we supposed to be impressed you can read an Imperial wanted posting?  Wait... Junior is worth more than me?"
Queen Ashara  "And a twi'lek girl... you I do not know."
Torm  "She's not one of us, just a friend.  So, Spice Lords."
Queen Ashara  "For twenty thousand years we have existed in secret, refining and distribution spice across the galaxy."
Torm  "Really?  I think the Hutts would disagree."
Queen Ashara  "The Hutts cannot see what is in front of their bloated bellies.  We control the spice.  All of it.  We are the ones who seeded the galaxy with spice on a thousand worlds.  We control its distribution through control of the galactic underworld."
Junior  "How precisely did you seed a thousand worlds?"
Queen Ashara  "Much you know about Spice is a lie."  Ashara walks over to a very large transparasteel contain, over 12 feet high, and illuminates it.  Inside is a giant plant, a pod of some kind the Warriors have never seen. "This is a Spice Seeder.  A small one, and one of the last few in existence, my predecessors were sadly unable to save them.  But these magnificent pods woudl launch their seed into space, seeding worlds across the galaxy."

Torm  "Junior, is she telling the truth?  Could they do that?"
Junior  "It's totally inconceivable."
Torm  "So of this is all your big secret why are you telling us now."
Queen Ashara  "Because you discovered our Shadownet.  For twenty thousand years we have kept ourselves hidden from the likes of Doctor Ugavine, only for his son to be the one to hack our network."
Junior  "Yeah, I did that.  Trying to feel bad about it, but it's not working."
Spice Lord Valorn  "We should dispose of them."
Queen Ashara  "Take them below while I decide... oh... but leave Torm with me."

Terri gives Torm a wry smile, Torm just shakes his head.

As they leave Queen Ashara whispers to Valorn, "Find out who the girl is."

Episode Four - The Spice up your Life

Terri, Jo'din and Junior are taken to a lower level and held in a very large luxury apartment.

Terri  "As prisons go, this place ain't half bad."
Spice Lord Valorn "The room is guarded and the computer disabled.  If you try to escape you will be eliminated."
Terri  "In your dreams goldilocks."

Valorn see to is refreshments are served, though the Warriors are alert to the fact they are laced with Spice.

Meanwhile, Spice Queen Ashara entertains Torm.  She gets Torm a drink of the finest wine.
Queen Ashara  "You are still upset you knew nothing about us.  The vanity of you smugglers, you think you know the underworld, you know nothing.  But I can change that... for you."
Torm  "Torm, for me?  What do I have that so appealing?"
Queen Ashara  "Come now Mister Torm, Vincent, you already have great knowledge of the galactic underworld. At my side you would live like a king, but above all, you would know everything."

Back downstairs Valorn watches Jo'din drink her fifth glass of the spice wine.

Jo'din  "The bubbles tickle my nose."
Terri  "You are so... mine."

Valorn (cursing to an aid) "Why is the spice having no effect on them?"
Spice Lord "My Lord, the Ugnaught has not drank and the women appear to be quite resilient."
Valorn  "Why is there no bounty on the girl?"
Spice Lord  "Maybe she is what they say, not important."

In Queen Asharas bed chamber, as she more than tries to seduce Torm, receives an communication.

Spice Lord  "My Queen, the refinery is under attack.  Rebel starfighters."

Queen Ashara  (to Torm)  "Really, starfighters.  Our facility is not the Death Star, you will find no weakness, it reactor core is incredibly well protected."

Spice Lord  "There is something else, they are running some kind of interference over the comms..."

Queen Ashara  "That is just... Spice up your life?  Is this supposed to mock us?"

Torm (laughing)  "Yeah, well... that can only be one person... Bossko B."

Queen Ashara  "... shit!   Evacuate the facility!"
Spice Lord  "My Queen?"
Queen Ashara  "It's Bossko B. you fools, he'll destroy the facility!"
Spice Lord  "Surely not... wait... a single Y-Wing starfighter has breached defences and is flying THROUGH the superstructure... that impossible!"

Queen Ashara  "Twenty thousand years.  One day of Ugavine and Bossko B. and everything is ruined!  Valorn, kill the others.  Valorn...?"

As Valorn enter the lower chamber he was unaware Terri was right by the door, for Jo'din had been monitoring Torm's thoughts.  Terri is beaten by the two guards but not before kicking Valorn to the ground.

Meanwhile Jo'din had been initiating the Force Power, Enhance Another Attribute, to increase Terri's strength, but only manages +1D.  It is enough and Terri floors both the Spice Lords, Valorn flees.  Terri and Junior grab a blaster rifle off the Spice Lords and go to find Torm.

Valorn, sporting a black eye, arrives to protect his Queen but the Warriors are immediately behind them.

Valorn turn to blast Terri and Queen Ashara draws an ignites a Lightfoil!  They exchange fire and Terri is hit, but just a stun effect.  Valorn hits a second time, but still only stunning her.

Jo'din manage in increase Torm's Strength by +2D, Torm tackles the Queen.  She swings her lightfoil at Torm, but Torm manages to doge and necks chops her knocking her unconscious.

Terri finally get the better of Valorn, blasting him unconscious.

Terri  "Let's get the hell out of here."
